Bob Noyen obtained his BA in International Business from the Hogeschool voor bedrijfskunde in the Netherlands, and subsequently gained an MBA from the University of Georgia at Athens, Georgia in the USA. After working as a financial analyst for Algemene Bank Nederland in New York and then in consulting in Indonesia, Bob joined Minorco (now part of Anglo American plc) in 1989, where he was Assistant Treasurer based in Luxembourg. He had a wide-ranging role covering all treasury issues, as well as evaluating and implementing a wide variety of investment strategies related to Minorco’s assets. After two years on secondment to the Collahuasi copper mining operation in Chile, Bob joined Record in 1999 as a Director. He is now Chief Investment Officer at Record, with responsibility for investment and research. Bob chairs Record’s Investment Committee and is a member of Record’s Executive Committee.
